a way to get the Maus
It's kind of a grind but you can get a Maus and I'll explain how.

the concept of the strategy:
When you are repairing a tank, you have to buy parts from the shop and if you have too many parts you can sell them again. This is what we are going to exploit.

a brand new Maus costs $ 2.500.000, which sounds a lot but it isn't because you get a lot of money from selling parts. I assume that you are max upgraded.

this is what you got to do:

1) get yourself 1 or multiple tanks which you don't care about (doesn't work well if you use 2 tanks of the same type)
2) strip them completely empty, like 0% assembly.
3) sell all the remaining parts so the grind can begin
4) go to Tank Status Menu -> Tank Analysis -> Buy Missing parts -> make sure it's "Rusted" and "Buy Parts" and click "accpet"-> close shop
5) go to Storage -> click on "select all" -> click on "outsource repairs" and make sure it's "painted".
6) wait 60 seconds
7) go back to Storage -> click on "select all" -> click on "sell"
8) repeat step 4 till 7.

What did you gain? well, let's use the Panther as an example: buying all parts rusted costs $4.090, outsource repairs costs $5.487 and selling all parts gains $100.412 which means that you gain $90.835 in 1 minute. which means that you can get a brand new Maus after 28 sells (28 minutes)

Once you got your first Maus then I advice you to do the same as a Maus gets you $244.734 if sell all of it's parts

so literally just grab a tank outta the scrapyard, take everything off, buy all parts minimum cost, sell all parts, repeat... Could I do this with just 1 tank over and over again?

I can do this with 3 tanks at a time, 2 repair spots and paint room...

Economics in this game are really f***ed up, they need a rework.

You can also just keep buying "missing parts" for the same tank over and over again, too. I did it with the Tiger I and the first set gives you full price which will be like $66k upon sale and every other one you buy while you have the first one is about an extra $45k. So I just kept buying missing parts over and over again and then outsourcing repairs for them all at once, and I was getting $300k every minute or so.

(Might want to tank advantage of this before they patch it. I'm gonna do it with the Maus parts now)
Doing it with the Maus costs around 15k for all the missing parts, around 18k to outsource, and you get around 275k from selling all parts...

I had somewhere around $10 million in my bank account when the Maus came out so I just bought 1 and the plans. Found 2 in the scrapyard sometime afterwards before the developers removed that option. Still haven't for one on a dig but haven't tried very hard to do so either.

the fun thing is: you dont need a tank to buy rusted parts in bulk and send them to repair... just tested buying the max 100 purchase at once for several of the Tigers parts. invested 59k in parts, 142k in repairs, got 1.9 mil in return.
you may want to have an auto-clicker for this XD
also: there are parts that have a better profit margin, but at this point, who cares :D

we dont need conformation, since the devs said so themselves, lol.

you are a genius I never thought that there would be a way to play a game and at the same time not play the game

you dont even need to buy all the parts, just buy 100 of the most expensive one you can find, i started with the m18 gearbox and once i got to 300k i used the maus cannon guard thingy, the one that costs 2.9k and just bought as many as i could and sold until i was able to buy 100 and just kept buying and selling it. once you have all the money upgrades you literally cannot lose money if you aren't dumb, EVERY part sells for more than you bought it for, and i do mean buying fully finished parts.

So I've got 6 Maus in tank yard, 1 in museum and after todays Christmas mission extraction I have 2 Maus stored in a warehouse. :mobilesteps:
At some point in any game like this, getting more money or tanks isn't really necessary.

For challenges starting a fresh game and Not upgrading the money perks, etc. provides harder mode of playing. So if devs want to add a skill level that makes economics more rigorous well that'd be fine to opt into. But leave current normal as default it makes a great introduction trainer for majority of new players. :tms_flashlight:
