Nothing in search circle

I bought the game yesterday, and I have been loving it, but recently i have been wondering something. When I go out to excavate a tank, i would search the entire search area and there would be nothing. The magnetometer shows that I've searched the entire thing, but there is still nothing. This has happened for the last 3 in a row excavations. Is there sometimes no tanks that spawn, or is it a bug?

It should detect the tank without a problem, do you scan the place with other tools first? Like Metal Detector/drone?

Normally when I try to excavate, Ill use the magntometer and if i don't fine anything, ill do a quick run through with the metal detector

And with the magnetometer, do you also check the place with the alternative mode of the magnetometer? When you press X key (default key) it should switch the display when holding the magnetometer, and the tank should be visible in this state.

Also, does this happen every time with magnetometer?

When that happens to me I make a second pass, rotated 90 degrees. (e.g. If my first pass was North-South I do the second one East-West.) That usually gets it, but once it took 4 passes.

Happens for me too the first time, searched with drone, no tank on the hole map.

I load the extraction Zone again and searched the Zone a second time, only this time turned 90 degree like other mentioned and it worked, a tank!

Ever since one of the more recent updates, I havent had any issues finding tanks. Could be due to the fact that I am using a drone mainly, but I havent had any issues finding tanks in the search circle, Thanks for the fixes!

Yeah, it is very strange, few people do not experience any trouble with extractions, other have no tanks, missing tanks etc. I need to solve this

theres literally no tank in my cirlce, i only have the metal detecter bet i searched every inch of the circle and a bit outside at least 20 times, i also dug a t random places but no tank

Maybe it is a Goliath. They are very small and easily missed. Do you have the drone?

after digging out everything, digs on top of digs, i finally found something over a spot i walked at least 6 times, a luger. 20k for a luger....

it says theres a tank, but theres no tank now

after restarting it still doesnt work, and theres no cleaning equipment either to clean an invisible tank, im just gonna give up
