Is there a way to put machineguns on tanks?

Hi,

I'm playing für bout 90 hrs now, and I really like that game. But there is one question that went unanswerd yet.

Is there a way to put guns like the Daktarev or the MG-34 in tanks that dont come with them installed from excavations?

I have like a dozend of daktarevs and eight or nine MG-34 in my display items store, but displaying another and then another machinegun of the same type seems stupid. Would be greate if I could put them on tanks I restore, but I did not find a way to do that.

Any hints would really be appreciated.

Its not the simplest way but put your tank in the workshop. Then in DISASSEMBLE mode, select the mount for the machine gun and left click. will open a window to place the MG into it.

No problem, took me ages to find this out too. Was a post on the discussion tread somewhere I think, or elsewhere online.

Does this apply for the main tank gun ammo? I took all of them out and discovered that I cant put the shells back into the turret.

You can also just open the Tank Scan scrreen and select the option that replenishes ammo for the cannon.
In the same screen you buy ammo from you can open the MG lists and mount them into their placements. Altough not all MGs are interchangeable, so you may be unable to mount them into specific slots unless you have the specific modification of MG.
