So, as Halabaloo said, crafting is useless--but from the standpoint of making money. The blueprint costs are so high. And I'm not here to sell tank parts without a realistic economy in place (doing this is currently an exploit).

edit: this is, of course, based on the assumption that you have all the perks to reduce purchasing and outsourcing costs.
not even in the sense of role playing/simulation.
Buying rusted or even finished parts is much more practical.
Maybe grinding money by outsourcing parts is the current workaround.
If the blueprint can be seen as giving up technological know-how of tank maker, then it is justified that it is higly valued information. The most ridiculous part is that you can recycle a rusted part for 3 points and craft the same part in the best condition possible at the same, 3 point price.
Another ridiculous thing is that you can buy a new tank for the same, high price as the blueprint. Then you can sell it for 20% to 25% of it's original value, same as the restored tanks. This I can't understand.
