HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Degenerals\TankMechanicSimulator
You can create new additional profile in the game, to keep old save on first profile and start new game with second. Also, you can use following "hack" to dump registry data into file.
In game (for example when you are in Warehouse), press ~ (tilda) key and use following command:
savegame 1
then, it will export save data into file:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\TankMechanicSimulator\TankMechanicSimulator_Data\StreamingAssets\Internal\tms1.data
To load game, copy this file into second computer, load game, load Warehouse, use command:
loadgame 1
Thank you very much, this will prevent another data loss!
And @Zenith - You don't have to modify registers - command "savegame 1" creates a file, which You then use by "loadgame 1" <-- no registery modification necessary.
But I concur - registery IS a strange place to keep savegame.
What will they do if they actually have mod support? Seems like a really bad idea.
Please put the save game in APPDATA where it belongs.
They really should think about storing them elsewhere though...
If TMS would be a game in early development stage then it would be OK at first but it's a fully released game and not early access.
