How to activate waterpump durring excavation???

Move to it and turn it on... just click on the device middle of the blue pipe.

There is nothing on the field or arround. When I pay for excavation, they charge 2000, say they found something, and I need to pump away the water. I can only click on "continue". And I'm back to where I was before. No machines, no generatores, no nothing. Then call excavation crew again, and the same happens all over again. What to do??

You activate the water pump after the tank has been excavated, either you dug out the tank yourself or let the crew do it entirely. Whatever you do, you need to call in the crew, it'll cost you less when you do the choice parts yourself but the excavation in total costs you $1000 minimum either way.

The water pump is located on in the ring around the excavation site. Press G without tools in hand to see it more clearly - the outlining of the unit looks like a 0,5x0,7x0,5m box. Click for on/off.

If you for whatever reason left the excavation map and reentered whilst the pit was already dug it should show on the map. Chance are you have to re-dig.
