You can back out to the menu and reload and it should update, it'll change to 'turn gun on' and then 'repair parts'.

Okay, so I think the problem people are having is that the tank in your garage is the tank you dug up, not the one for the contract. You need to send the tank to your storage yard.

Then the tutorial is complete garbage, because it doesn't tell you that, at all. Wow.

if its the t34 you dug up its your tank. its not a contract. You can either store it in the yard or upgrade to get the museum

But then why doesn't the tutorial tell you that? To go from one contract to another, without telling you what to do with the thing you just dug up, is terrible, terrible design. If nothing else, it should move that tank into the yard and put the contract one on the table instead. At a minimum.

it gets stuck too if you haven't replace the replaceable parts. in my case i'm on the M10 Wolverine primer tutorial; i've pretty much restored EVERYTHING in the tank except for the driver's seat, which i can't buy (not available in tank part store) not restore (storage bugs out and displays nothing). so i guess i'll stop playing until this very silly issue's fixed. a shame really...i was actually enjoying the game.

had the same problem. ended up canceling the contract and taking a fine before realizing my mistake
Currently the game is now telling me to go open my emails for new jobs even after having accepted a job. 2nd time tying to just get through the tutorials of the game without them breaking, already did 1 data clear

The assistent seat is also the drivers seat. I was looking for the same thing before I noticed that they look identical. Bit silly of them to not include that but yeah

Imstuck Sherman is at %99 rust removal , i cannot find the %1 driving me nuts iv looked over whole tank

OMFG i'll go try that out. that's SO stupid.

EDIT: tried. didn't worked. managed to force my way to just restoring the driver seat somehow before the storage glitches out again

That is a good way but i think i know what part Gully might be stuck/was stuck on...it's the wooden guard at the front....i tried every kind, rusty, sandblasted, primed and the ONLY one that ticked it over to 100% rust removal was a PAINTED wooden guard! Nowhere in the tutorial does it mention that you need to replace that :/

i thought it's preety obvious that it needs to be replaced since it replaces the meter on the side with a "Replaceable only" warning label of sorts. my main issue tho is that i have to outsource it, and the storage's glitching out hard on me 95% of the time
