The solutions you find elsewhere may not be applicable as the AI player adapts their difficulty to how many times you've played it. All I can suggest is trying again until the difficulty level drops to a level that can be beaten.

Heh. Still not sure why but after several more tries, I saw an opportunity and the other robot fell for it.

I tried 5 times to play it seriously, but because the designer is so ♥♥♥♥ at making vibrant and high quality textures for this game. Tic tac toe is impossible. So you just have to rely on luck. I began placing my nuts in a line. Heh, nuts. And spread them out, the AI got confused and wasn't able to block my line. I literally won a game in 5 moves.

All you need to do is make a 2x2 square to start out since then the AI sees multiple potential lines, really easy.
