Arcade 2 "up" button simply not working

On the Arcade 2 game the machine's "up" button appears depressed. No matter what input I use (controller, keyboard or mouse), I simply cannot move the blue dot up, which is of course necessary to proceed. Reinstalled the game — same thing. Can't find this problem listed in forums from anyone else.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I've got the same problem.

Hi there, the buttons are mapped on wasd and arrow keys. On controllers they work with Lstick as well as the dpad. If you are playing with mouse, make sure to disconnect your controller and check if any "up" buttons on any connected keyboard are accidentally pressed (if cats are involved, this may be a quick solution :)). If you want to play with the controller, check for if the stick has a drift.
