Macbook - Blank screen??

Hello! I just downloaded Machinarium on my Macbook & whenever I open it, it brings up a blank white screen. I could hear some "scratching" sounds play a startup, but I can't see anything? Help!

Same here. White screen on MAC. Audio works. Just purchased and downloaded because Steam listed this game as a promotion. Was my first Steam purchase as well....probably my last as I see this has been a problem for over 2 months. Steam should not be promoting (or even selling) this game for MAC or at least have a warning. Too late to get a refund?

Just bought collectors edition and there is a white blank screen after running the game on my MacBook Air OSX BIG SUR 11.2

Also, good catch with the beta kaos :) it has been there for testing purposes for a short while. The official updated version is on the default branch now, so you can switch back to that.

I played the game today in the morning, updated 5 minutes ago and the game doesn't even start now.

oops! Which mac are you on (year)? Are you running Big Sur? Try deleting the game and redownloading it and let us know if anything changes, please!

I deleted the game, downloaded it again and it's the same. Mac OS X 10.13.6 (17G14042), iMac mid-2010
