It will release to linux eventually, probably the last place though. They have Android, iApple and PS4 to do as well.

I almost cried when I didn't see a Linux release. Because, my coworker was like. Shawn.. this looks like a kind of game that you would like. I'm like.. I KNOW! And he was going to play with me.. But, we Linux. =(

I managed to get it working under linux using PlayOnLinux. This is essentially a windows emulation layer; so I install a windows version of Steam using PlayOnLinux and then install Twilight Struggle there. It works pretty well. The only bug I encountered so far is that of missing fonts (this is common when playing windows games under emulation). Specifically I cannot see past moves and I cannot see the current score (Victory Points). Apart from that though the game is playable.
I am still investigating how to fix the fonts issue.

only issue with that is of course that it will not count as a linux sale, even when it comes out for linux (eventually - hopefully soon).
