Coop?

It's nothing like Helldivers. Helldivers is a VERY slow paced twin stick shooter (or something like that) while this is a very fast and hectic twin stick shooter. ;)

It does but since it's a very, very fast game i think lag would've been a huuuge problem in online coop... probably.

Or maybe they'll add it later, you never know. :)

Resogun is also very fast paced game at least on higher diffictulties so that shouldnt be the matter bceause it has online coop. i really really hope that they add online co-op in the futurue

I think it'd be laggy as well. Still, online co-op is never a bad thing. It used to be a deal breaker for me but I haven't played much online in other twin-stick shooters anyway

well if you play in your own region ofc it wont lag.

Helldiver's tactical and full of different weapons and equipment (stratagems), air support etc. I wouldn't call it "slow" per se, but it's certainly not shooting for the sugar bombs and Fruit Loops-fueled speed of Nex Machina. :)

Housemarque's Aliennation is maybe a bit closer to Helldivers in offering 4-player online co-op, and I'd love to see it hit Steam some year, but probably not happening.

I bought a PS Vita back in spring 2015 just to play Helldivers, but Resogun was certainly my 2nd favorite game on it.

I am excited about Nex Machina -- have bought it -- and am eagerly awaiting for the release.

Resogun is proof that HM can't put out a fast-paced twin-stick shooter with relatively no lag. Played great online, many hours sunk into it with a friend. Hopefully online gets added to Nex Machina in the future.

I've played this in Online Co-op. Launch the game, then pull up steam overlay (shift+tab) right click on your friends name and invite them to play. Go into Local Co-op and then can ready up with their controller. It's weird though. If I invite my friend he just sees a loading screen. But if he invites me, we can play. As I'm playing on his session, the game is clearly streaming,. But the input seems really good.
