Hi everyone, I've been thinking of playing AI for a loooong time. I was just wondering if a more defensive strategy is feasible in this game? or it's sequel? Like a slower more methodical method rather then a frantic rush to stay on top of things. Or does the AI run away from you in terms of development if you take too long expanding? I don't necessarily want to change too many settings away from vanilla either....

ok, I did the hopping thing and have destroyed the command base, but I cannot build an own one. my mobile builder is blinking red. I have sufficient ressources and evertyhing is destroyed in that system.

Weird thing I've noticed lately that I don't remember happening in the past, but if you have the game running in windowed mode, and you alt tab for a bit, sometimes after a few minutes, the game just closes. No crash report or anything, it just closes. Doesn't matter if you pause the game and open the menu or not. Anyone else experience this or is my install messed up somehow ?...
