Anyone with a low end machine found some decent results?
I'd be happy just to play this in 720p(in 2016 lul) with a decent framerate. Has anyone got the game playable with a below average rig yet?

i5 3750k
7850
8GB RAM

All settings on very low, everything turned off :(

Any chance of getting somewhere in between 20-35 fps on this on low details in 1280x1024 resolutions?

Core i3 2100 (as a base this should be mostly fine even according to tech reports if you don't mind the occasional drop and don't target anything like 60fps: http://gamegpu.com/action-/-fps-/-tps/dishonored-2-test-gpu

4 GB RAM (anybody actually running this on 4 GB?)

HD 6850 1GB

You'll likely get laughed off for this here, and it'd be certainly not ideal either way, but I've yet to buy a new PC or simply upgrade to an i5/i7 despite playing quite a bit on it (mostly the new wave of oldschool RPGs, adventure games, Football Manager, and the occasionally 3d blockbuster that still runs on this just fine, such as Alien:Isolation, even the more recent Shadow Warrior would be just fine). However I'm not prepared yet to upgrade for just one game, all the other ones I'm planning to get are fine. For Dishonored 2, I'd be a bit forgiving as far as the frame rates and details are concerned, as the main thing for me in the first game too was the fantastic level design and overall game mechanics in general. My playstyle is rather slow and sneaky rather than high chaos as well.

I was a bit surprised by the PC problems surrounding this. If you remember, Dishonored required a minimum of a HD 5850 and 4 GB of RAM, in the end it actually played without any problems whatsover in Full-HD and max details on hardware as old as a GeForce 8800, a Core 2 Duo and 1 GB of system RAM. But then it was based on Unreal Tech. Was certainly a rare case of a game where the official minimum specs were specifically meant to provide the fully experiences without frame drops for everyone. Typically it's the other way around, minimum specs for 720p and 30fps max at minimum details at best. Which apparently has happened to Dishonored 2, at least a bit. Sucks pretty much that the age of playable demos has passed. Thanks either way!
I tried this on a8 6600k and r5 270, all minimum settings everything turned off, and it was around 2FPS, and even the menu was laggy 5fps. so i dont think you'll even be able to launch the game!

I5 4210U GeForce 840m 8gb RAM, at very low graphic works well for me. Just twerk some settings here and there would make it optimized too. Good thing is, it doesn't heat up your PC/Laptop and definitely doesn't eat CPU and GPU

What framerate do you get? I've got an i7 5600u and an 840m and I get 12-20fps. What are your settings in game what did you tweak?

I have a i5, 4gb RAM and nvidia 630. I know, not very good. I don't seem to have problems with framerates but the texturesare all fuzzy and broken, even the ones in the options menus
why would you even buy a modern game like this with such a pos pc? 4 gb of ram is damn joke for gaming and a 630 was a low end turd that did not even meet requirements for games even back when it was released.

12-20 fps is probably "playable" to him. I think you guys with low end comps are idiots for buying modern demanding games especially at 60 bucks.

Lenovo Y500 laptop here. i5 - 3210, 2x2GB 650M SLI, 6gb RAM. Technically I'm not even passing through the 'minimal' requirements. Does not prevent me from loving& enjoing this game.

'Low' auto-preset with textures&models&enviromen set to 'medium'. It's...well, totally playable. For me, that's it. Comes with extremely low expectations, I guess. I was ready for the slideshow \not being able to run it, but it's ~25-30 1080 in smaller zones with random drops under ~20 in some 'hungry' spots. But since even the most recent configs report same FPS drops, I'm hardly in the position to complain, lol.

The most interesting thing, however, is that I was somehow able to run it with a single 650M. Now THAT was slow&choppy, even for my moderate low-config tastes, but hey, it's a 4 years old mobile GPU we're talking about.

So, I'd say this. It's very likely that you'll be able to run&play it, just don't expect miracles, you'll be lucky to hit 30FPS (with some proper nvidia profile tweaking, may be). If you're fine with that - go for it, since the game IS good, if you think that going anywhere below 60 is 'a horrible FPS drop' - wait for an upgrade and\or performance patch. Not sure that the latter is going to be any helpful for the lower rigs, though.

Becauseitstill works, it's 6gb,, not 4. But i've managed to play witcher 3, far cry 4, all assassin's ceed's...
It's not 60 fps and 1080 but it works. In fact, managing around I have made this one more or less playable, I'm just waiting to see how better it works with the update

Minimum:
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit versions)
Processor: Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB or better

Your CPU and RAM are good to go, but your video card is significantly below spec. It's also only a 2GB card. I mean, normally you'd probably get it running at some level I think. But given how broken the game is for people who exceed even the recommended requirements I would not risk it.

Maybe this is a good place to repeat a question of mine which I posted when the game came out but went unanswered (10 minutes after posting it was already buried on page 3):

I've got an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz. The diagnostic tool at the site "Can you run it?" says this won't do for "Dishonored 2" as I'd need at least an "Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better". But wouldn't my CPU actually be the better one?

Also, has anyone played the game using a notebook with a GTX 980M? How does it fare? As my screen resolution is limited to 1080*1920p, it would only have to work fluently with this resolution.

Dunno if this helps but im on a 1060 laptop right now. at 1080 i get between 40 and 60 fps. problem is the random nature of the problem. machines with same specs same settings will either get 20 fps or 60 fps. thats why a universal work around doesnt exist.

1920x1080p, my r9 270 and i5 6500 and 16gb ddr4 ram

its at least playable
around 20-40fps
