How'm I supposed to get this? I'm utterly stuck...

I honestly have no idea what the intended way is. But you can get it by spamming amulets as you slide over the hole. It's pretty annoying to retry if you fail, though.

Slide on the breakable block in the room above to open it. Then make sure not to break the bottom left block in the small area after it, and from that block slide to the left before the time has run out. You'll bump into the timed block and fall into the hole towards the egg.
