You can opt for carrot bombs but like Kona said, it is liable to make you a sitting duck when next to her.
Or if you're patient enough like I was in my first playthrough, just spam the beam magic and stay far away from her to easily dodge most of her attacks. c:
If you already have it, the Super Carrot deals quite respectable damage to her, too.
As for Ribbon's magic, the default blue one is probably the most reliable, especially when you take the boost attack into consideration.
To TC: but yes, carrots deal additional damage to enemies that have Null Melee buff. However, placing carrots is risky if you don't know the enemy well, so just be careful. I really suggest using charged shots while dodging so that you can also learn for future bosses how to get more damage. More damage = lesser time you have to fight them = lesser things you have to dodge.
