You should have a winning status for the games, it's difficult for a child to understand if finished sucessfully the game or not.
Now, what could be do even better.
Mini games could have more levels or at least changing themes. As in memory except leaves there could be animals, fishes or fossils. In food choosing there could be selecting right food for right animal (as squirrel, deer, bear,...). Also agree with other guys - there should be something pointing end of game - even screen of smiling deer would be OK :).
As for other mini games ideas (by kids :)) t:
- connecting foot-tracks to animal that leave it,
- or guessing what animal is hiding behind bushes/trees/rocks by seeing their horns/tail/legs,
- or selecting right tails to their owner,
- or connecting animals to their shadows.
Little things that changing when you point it with cursors are great. Kids love to discover such small animations and it would be great if you could add more of it. Even as simple as small animals hiding behind tree or some flowers moving.
And please made walk a little bit longer. You can always use the same environment graphic but add for example snow or rain or more Spring green.
- Fix the mini-games, so that when everything is completed to 100%, make the player know he has done the right thing.
- The movement could be instantaneous instead of this slow turning thing you have going on.
- Options for turning the sounds/music on or off (or a slider).
(Mini-games that rolejn suggested are brilliant, thumbs up!)
Any ideas when the next update is coming?
Please let us know which outher epoch you would like to find out
Can you tell when the update is?
I play it on Linux and it is running at hundreds of frames per second and heating up my gpu (nvidia) too much. The nvidia control panel shows gpu utilization at 99% which is not acceptable when your game has simple graphics.
