Nobody can join my gmod server(port forwarding issue)
I know how to port forward, I've done it and it worked just fine with my minecraft server and stuff.

I'm creating a gmod server, and i can go on it, but other people can't connect. it's definitely a port forwarding issue, but i'm trying to figure out how to fix it.

I've read through this thread, http://forums.srcds.com/viewtopic/15755, which seems pretty similar to the problem i have, but id on't really understand how they fixed it.

I have both 27015 and 27005 port forwarded on TCP/UDP, but when i go on a port checker website it says the port is not open.

If anyone could help me that would be great :D

Someone Help Me Too Please. When I Start My Server It Says My Port Is 27016 and it let people join. But when i close it down and re open it for next game time the port changes too 27015 and no one can join. In order for me to change the port back i have to redo the server. Anybody got solutions of how to keep the port the same??

Here is a guide for your router, it's very easy. http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Netgear/DG834GUv5/

When you Portforward, use the same Port for both UDP and TCP. (27015) Use your Ipv4 address when porting. You may or maynot need to allow it through your firewall. If so, you can find it on your Computer's settings. Hope this has helped!

Same problem here. The thing is though, I recently had to re-install windows.
Worked perfectly Before then.
