yes, 140 gb of your diskspace is what you need to enjoy the story of how b3 disbands b2 hunters and destroy their bonds with the crimson raiders, and to see maya dies a very embarassing death because of troy and ava in a very badly designed cutscene where your b3 hunters are right in the next room idly t posing.
Garbage? Did we play the same game? Not saying this game is better than BL2, but saying the game is garbage is just a lie.

Saying the game is garbage would be an opinion and the true perspective of the OP, not a lie.

Personally I find the game partly garbage, namely what they did with the writing and the story (plus that steaming pile called Tyreen).

As for the size, the game is poorly optimized and I recall a good chunk of that is all the languages they programmed instead of just choosing the one you use.
Yup, extremely irritating that they make us download all locales and waste content we don't need. Could have been way under 50GB. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ devs.
people dont play garbage, you fellas are on the forum of a ''garbage'' game years after it was released. gameplay is amazing stop hating on a game u love
yea yea b3 gameplay is so great so all the bad writings about the story its done to the series is totally okay to ignore.

maybe just replace all the characters into sentient guns or something. that way borderlands will have no need to bother about characters, story and world design elements to it. only pure gameplay. wooooo

Garbage is implying the game is all around terrible. Is the story garbage? Yeah. Is the gameplay garbage? Hell no.

As I said, its a lie. And on top of that, its an overexaggeration. If it truly was garbage this game would be sitting in the negatives in reviews.
u can easily play the game with no audio and still have a great time, only problem is the wait inbetween fighting and the ''talk to lilith'' objectives, other than that the flaws remain the same and so are the talking points - story and writting which is NOT NEEDED in a game. It would have been better had it been good like BL2 but it is not the case, enjoy the good gameplay, they couldve kept the same old formula with a bad writting. now THAT wouldve sucked

To be fair there is a lot of content and that includes all DLC. It could be worse like God of war ragnarok which is 200gb for a 30 hour linear game.

If you're pressed for space on your ss then iirc you can delete all dialogue files which vastly improves the game and frees up a chunk of space.
Borderlands is just as linear, just has more endgame stuff too do.

Have you actually played the newer god of war games? Would you call Kingdoms of Amalur or Skyrim linear games because they have defined quest structures too? I mean I'll admit that I haven't played Ragnarok yet but I'm going to assume it plays out like the previous one where you're constantly following the story with minimal back tracking or side quests, sure there are collectibles and a few side areas but its not like Borderlands which might as well be considering an open world rpg compared to it with constant side quests and loads to explore. In addition BL3 has had a ton of content updates, when it launched it was just about 100gb.

I have both and while the narrative is obviously linear there are optional area and quests to participate in same vain as borderlands in that regard. Those games let you explore each area on the players terms last I checked in borderlands you need to complete story missions to access other areas of the game.

Borderlands end game is farming bosses to get specific gear. And exploration is as basic as GOW. If anything older GOW games were way more linear compared to 2018.

The only Open world area in God of War 2018, the lake, only opened up as you completed the story step steps necessary such as waking up the worm and again later moving it and certain areas were closed off once you completed story steps until you completed other steps or unlocked realm travel what are you talking about?

God of War was a linear story with the occasional side branch while Borderlands you could frequently complete a story step and then go off and spend hours in entirely optional areas filled with their own stories.

Why are you even fighting me on this? My point was that BL3's sheer amount of content justifies the size as opposed to something like Ragnarok at 175gb which is kind of staggering for the shorter narrative focused game that it is.
