What happened to the Hyperion space base ?
Hello !

Just finished Borderalnds 1, PS and 2 and now playing the 3rd.
I noticed that the giant Hyperion base is no more near the moon; what happened to it ?
It was still up there at the end of the 2nd game.

It got blown up during Tales From The Borderlands and crashed on Pandora. I'd imagine that the wreck has been quite thoroughly picked clean of anything valuable long before BL3 starts.

Pandora, Covenant Pass, go to the end of the road, you'll see the crashed remains in the distance.

BL2's 5th major DLC has missions that take you to the crashed station...

BL2 got a new ending that explains the space station and sanctuary.

Tldr - the station was crashed into pandora to kill someone (again) and sanctuary got taken.
