Zane doesn't have grenades?

Keep trying to throw them but it doesn't throw any grenades.
Also why is a lv5 area infested with lv7-8's?

Could be multiple things.

First you need a mod as far as I know to throw grenades.

Zane can have two skills one of which will fill the grenade slot.You can get "around" this with severale upgardes throwing grenades with your clone or drone.

Also some of his upgrades can consume grenades but most of those are higher levels.

The "levels" of areas arent as cut and dry as earlier titles as well.

if you have two action skills equipped then you can't use grenades

He does have skills that still allow him to indirectly use his grenades using the digi-clone and drone.
