Nah, you won't get banned, I've been using it for a long time. Along with other mods. You're good. :)
I do not however see anything pertaining to having the flush against the screen edges.
Please someone who has tried this post a screeny for those who have not re-installed to check.
Is there a reason why the HUD scale option doesn't work, I mean, it can't be that a patch broke the system and they just haven't gotten around to fixing it, that is just way too insane! I don't know if that's laziness, carelessness, or probably both. Geeeeeez.
The rumour is, the HUD Scaling and FOV was causing issues to the Console Crowd, Those with larger tv's/monitors were unable to see the text.
It also (supposedly) was causing the majority of split-screen (co-op) HUD issues.
Their solution ? Remove the setting completely. And when us (pc users) complained, they returned the setting, but it no longer functions.
It worked perfectly (on PC) for 8 Months. There is no indication they will ever fix it.
I don't have this installed anymore.
Alpharius above linked to a possible fix (MOD on Github) above.
Ohhh, that's a good thought. Be nice if someone knew how to trick the script. It is, after all, an Unreal Engine game. Which I knew where to turn off the Crosshair, that way I don't need to use a mod at all.
Wow, that's amazingly terrible.
This is the first time I ever seen a game where the only way to mod it was to be connected to the internet. I'm glad people were able to work around that, but geez. Really makes me wonder what goes through the minds of some of the publishers.
It's all part of the "Live Service" model many games now engage in, even when unnecessary.
It's also a convenient 'excuse' when they tinker with things during the games life-cycle (dlc / fixes / removal of settings, etc)
What about the local copy of the files, does the game revert to using those when you start up in offline ? (sorry it's been a while since i've looked at the games file structure.)
This is a fair point. We (collectively) have been unable to access these files, even when trying offline.
Oh man, well seems like GB have move the game to a closed backend type approach, which sucks. Wonder if this is a response to the gibbed culture of BL 1 and BL 2.
