imho ava was just fine (you don't see her that much during the story... the part she's in is just the WORST writing ever...)
so, more people hate the story then people hate ava...
Yeah she is very annoying. The problem is the way she was written, not the character archetype itself.
Without getting into spoilery stuff, basically she is your usual angtsy teenage girl who always goes against to what she is told to do/not to. Blames everyone else for her own errors and mistakes for not following said orders, stuff happens and she keeps being that.
+ because of her "that" happen.
I think they mishandled her arc.
