- I don't feel comfortable when I press the jump button with the same hand I'm using to move, so Jump is on RB.
- Manual Fire is on, and I have Fire on LB.
(I'd probably do much worse against the Ninja boss if Manual Fire was off)
- I set Taunt to one of the face buttons (A/B/X/Y), since letting go of the right stick and pressing it can be done quickly, and you can't do anything once you taunt, so it works pretty well.
- I set Slow-Time to LT and Weapon-Next to RT, though I only did minimalist runs w/o using those (not the intended way to play!).
I'd recommend to use shoulder buttons for Fire and Jump that you can press quickly, so depending on the gamepad, you may want to use the LT / RT equivalent instead of LB / RB.
Also, I can't guarantee that this setting works well when using Time-Slow often.
P.S.: I'm using a Wii Classic Controller (ZL / ZR for Fire / Jump), though I'd recommend a gamepad where the right stick has a circular gate, instead of an octagonal one.
