Is the game dead or been abandoned now??

I'm playing the scenario where it says I have nukes but I can't figure out how to fire them. I clicked on the WMD panel but I couldn't select any targets and pushing The Button does nothing. How am I supposed to watch the world burn?

I've got a lot of unemployed citizens and I can't fix this issue. I've tried dropping taxes, banning foreign immigrants, reducing minimum wages and banning unions. But none of these are helping. Everyone is starting to hate me. Any suggestions? It would be great if the game gave more information on the results of actions like Democracy 3, so I don't have to guess what to do....
