Anyone else play this game because their PC can't run Helldivers 2?

As the title suggests, I have a modest 3050 Ti (4GB) gaming laptop, and initially, my performance on Helldivers 2 was tolerable, able to get 45fps medium. But now, I can't hit 60 fps even with the lowest settings possible and upscaling on maximum. My computer runs most games fine, but I guess Helldivers 2 is just really demanding.

While I wait for the RTX 50-series cards to come out so I can justify building a bigger PC (it doesn't make sense to build a 40-series PC with the next generation of cards only a few months away and 40-series cards still selling at full price), I've been playing Helldivers 1. I'm pretty low level, so I've been playing on the lower difficulties solo. The way reviving works in HD1 certainly seems more friendly to solo play. Anyone else wish they could play HD2, but not have a PC capable of it?

I played HD2 in my potato pc and i got a lot of problems playing, Helldivers 1 is just a way to fill the idea of try to throw democracy, with or without friends, this game is good if u want to got an idea of Helldivers 2, not the same but...is a way to call yourself a Helldiver and have fun.
also yes, i play it bc my pc explodes if i kill a bug.

i have rx6700xt i have no problam playing HD2 but i like the hd1 and you dont need psn for thes one

More or less yes. I had this on my wishlist for sometime but never got to buy it waited for the 75% off to buy the collection. But yeah wish I could also play 2

I've returned and been playing this a lot more recently than HD2 simply because it's more of a finished product and is a lot easier and quicker to drop into a good mission, finish it and then quit the game if I need to go

And many of the games you deem safe have rootkits of their own

Mobile / Laptop GPUs are not same as desktop GPUs even if they are namesakes.

In practice, a mobile / laptop "NVidia RTX 3050 Ti" would be akin to desktop "3040 maybe-Ti" if one would actually exist.

The main problem for the first-post is the lack of (V)RAM and perhaps some other specs plus issues with the laptop.

I only pointed out your (assumable) desktop-variant and their laptop-variant graphics-cards are not equal despite sharing same name.
It is NVidia in this case manufacturing the confusion with the naming-scheme thus misleading potential buyers.

Guys, you are not missing anything. Literally. Matchmaking stopped working for some people since some days ago. I just gave up, uninstalled, removed from favs and I'm coming back to HD1.
If you see me around do salute and ask, and I will help you get some of those lvl 9-12 stratagems. Just have a little patience as I get back up to shape. Damn HD2 has reload key on Square/X on xbox, which in HD1 is jump. So I end up jumping instead of reloading some times.

I play Helldivers 1 because it puts a lot more emphasis on the teamwork. In HD 2 you can pretty much solo almost any mission (or at least you could, last time I played it, in May). But the main reason I've stopped playing this game is because it is locked from purchase after PSN scandal in 150+ countries.

I mean given the nature of Helldivers and Super Earth Federation where everyone could potentially become Helldiver, this restriction is insane to me and ruins metanarrative heavily, so to speak. I literally would feel bad playing this game. It is not like I think you all must stop playing it or hate it altogether, it is just my take on the situation. It is like we dive together or not at all, you know. This is why Helldivers 1 is my only choice until this restriction is lifted up.
