This is genuinely one of the best DLC released by Paradox in a very long time. Bug free (at least I havent seen a single one?), enhances a major nation I like to play alot. It has reinvigorated my wish to play the game. Hopefully this kind of quality of carries over to DLC for the other main nations of WW2

Mini subs was a thing even before the war kicked in, so should be relatively easy to get. The only reason they were not more common is that before the war most countries had cash and means to build normal subs, but mini subs only really started appearing when the means to build ships were getting short and when time was essencial. Mini subs are extremely easier to construct for obvious reasons after all.

But Helicopters in ww2 or before is just pathetic IMO.

Also we don't really need a guide on how to play this. What we need is less than 70 days focus on many of these reworked trees. And probably a reworked MEFO bills, the AI just doesn't know how to handle 100% consumer goods all the time.

Germany actually had a working heli, and the helicopters we're talking about here aren't like Hueys or Cobras from Vietnam. Think more like the old Bell H-13 or whatever it was called. Little dinky bubblecopter thing.

...Now if only the game could get a proper tutorial and not just a 200 page wikipedia article.

For everybody itching to reinstall, they fixed NOTHING and the AI got WORSE.
Italy AI lost 500k a months, run out of Manpower fast, but never stopped till their division vanished.

check out a few lets plays until you find a good one, helps more than all tutorials ingame, the rest you`ll figure out on your way

you couldnt have spent 40 mins to have done this 10 15 years ago with the other games and updates? (And put it on the main menu or front page somewhere?) instead of leaving people to guess, and notice stuff by chance while playing, and maybe find it on an external website?

I mean, there is a proper in-game tutorial. It just hasn't been updated since release. And since several DLCs are fully integrated into the base game now, on top of all the other features... Yeah, you see where I'm going.

Oh it did. They are getting more and more outdated with focuses not providing relevant bonuses thanks to the changes in how special research works.

Update the US focus tree with more Alternate History.
