am i reading this right? did they make research take longer, but also add more techs?
even for a major nation it is impossible to keep a navy up to date and also be viable on land as it currently is
You do know that doctrines can not be researched anymore right? you need exp now.
The overall tech feel is going to be like 9% to 5% faster without having to research doctrines.
In addition, we made a lot of old techs (Like artillery,) give redundant additional effects.
(IE: Researching AA guns gives you better tank destroyers and anti-infantry tanks, in the form of autocannons and heavy cannons.)
Lastly, we don't know if the new techs are really all that time consuming, or even necessary.
(If trains play out like convoys, it may actually be easy to accidentally over-produce them even without any enhanced techs.)
