ever since this new update hoi4 has become unplayable for me. 3-4 months into the game usually a focus and a half in I start to CTD. it's so annoying. I have no mods or anything I've tried everything from verifying game files to reinstalling. please fix.

Welcome to the club - I have had multiple CTD's and paradox is unhelpable. All they say is the boilerplate "uninstall/reinstall/delete folders" nonsense - they refuse to accept it is their game code. My game segfaults and crashes. I have done a memtest86 test and had no errors. My rig is more than capable of running the game.

Wow mate,nice pc.. hoi4 is not working good with modern pcs

mine runs fine on hardware from peak 2014. 4690k and rx 590. (yes the card is newer) 32 gigs ddr3 1600.

This crash is consistent before this hotfix I was running the game perfectly at high fps and I was even able to have discord running in the background and able to stream it to my friends at a consistent 60fps
I've also to get input lag and stuttering (not frame drops) before the game freezes crashes and burns. I don't have la resistance so maybe this is paradox's way of forcing you to buy their DLC? Idk lol but It makes me want to belt the devs over the head especially when it asks me to send that crash report and I don't hear back from them after I do

Same i really wish the devs would take initiative in the forums at paradox, but they are useless.

After this patch, the game is not running anymore. Directly crashing after clicking the Play Button in the Launcher... very frustrating...

Good luck, i just had a ticket closed on the pdx forums. The dev team is useless. My game CTD and once that happens it's game over.
