It's wonderful that we finally get to see the Portuguese focus tree that I had been looking forward to all this time! I *jumped* to it when I saw the notification that this had been posted!
I really like the new Salazar picture.
I was hoping, though, that Salazar would finally be labelled as fascist, which he was in real life. His neutrality policy regarding WW2 does not justify having him as Unaligned when Franco is considered fascist and also remained neutral.

As others have stated, Salazar wasn't a fully pledged fascist. Estado Novo was a mix of the old reactionary and Christian believes with Fascism. I believe unaligned is totally justified.

And Finland means nothing to them ?

Would've been a major mistake not doing Portugal together with Spain. Kinda like what happened with MTG where Belgium got left out yet the Dutch got a focus tree and new decisions.

Portugal was more important than u think in the global scope of ww2.

Apart from being the capital country for world espionage during ww2,lisbon itself was dubed the spy capital of ww2, and it was a safe haven for spies and assassins alike.


Thanks to the policies of Salazar, we kept Franco from joining the axis and ourselfs for that matter, we had deals with both Factions in the War and even stood up to Churchill and his pathetic demands for the most part.

Portugal also made use of its diplomacy to ensure our colonies would remain in our hands after the war.

Theres much more i could say about the matter,but for a braindead person such as yourself i dont expect you to understand.

Natives didnt even knew they had gold me boyo. We invested in Brazil and profited from it,so the gold was Portuguese tbh.

You can only complain of "thefts" or other things after you gained independence.

But let us not taint this amazing dev diary with sensless discussions.

Could had been better to be honest, they decided to add a lot of ahistorical content but no real historical path on the internal politics. A shame. Specially since Salazar was the Saviour of the Fatherland and simply the best Portuguese that ever lived (died poor, always worked and gave his best effort to improve the life of his people, unlike most of the democrats of today that are a bunch of thieves in disguise, much like the communists that don't do anything but still hoard the most patrimony).

Tried getting Paradox to help me for the last week and a half to get this launcher working and they just gave up on me. Pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lit fam. This is some Fallout 76 level ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ right here. I can't play the game. I cannot play this game. I paid $100+ to play this and I can't. I'm sure I'm not alone either. I want a refund if the next update to fix this crap doesn't fix anything. Not gonna lie, really pissed right now.

Really awesome. I love seeing more focus trees, and honestly, it would be awesome if your next dlc was just quickly getting a focus tree for the countries that don't have one yet. It spices the game up, and playing as minors feels a bit 'samey'at the moment. Amazing work though, keep it up!
