Hearts of Iron 4 - Crash on Startup

Hi,
I'm having trouble launching Hearts of Iron 4. When I try to start the game through the Paradox Launcher, I get an error message

Error occurred ⚠️
The game has likely crashed or closed unexpectedly (exit code: null).
The issue may be resolved by verifying the integrity of game files and disabling mods.
For Windows systems, it may also be necessary to install the Visual C++ redistributable package and the .NET Framework.

Additionally, the "Paradox Crash Reporter" appears, informing me that the application quit unexpectedly.

I have already tried:

Verifying game files on Steam
Disabling all mods
Reinstalling Visual C++ and .NET Framework
Reinstalling the game completely
Deleting all game-related folders before reinstalling
Has anyone encountered a similar issue and found a solution?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yesterday i had no problem and this morning it just crash. I uninstall and re-install and it crash when i load a saved game. If i start a new game it looks ok but..

I am getting a similar error despite a clean install with no mods. Already refunded the new DLC purchase due to it.

The game crashes in 100% when loading any save second day in a row. The same situation - playing one day and later the same day I couldn't load it again. I have a subscription, so this kind of crash has been preventing me from playing. In other words, I am unable to use my paid time as intended. I have already sent multiple crash reports, but there has been no response from the developer.

Unfortunately, it did not help me. Tried everything written in OP's post and more except maybe clean install of Windows, but I won't go there.

Update: I managed to fix it by deleting absolutely everything everywhere connected to HoI and Paradox including the registry.

I have a clue: When I open the game after skipping the launcher and trying to load my 1941 German save, it crashes immediately. When I open with the launcher (after hitting resume), it loads until it hits "precalculating naval distances" and then crashes.
