Database error related to launcher-v2.sqlite

So everytime i try launch HOI4, i get the message:
"Database migration failed. Most likely, your database file has been affected by newer version of the launcher. Remove/Rename the file C:\Users\[Name]\OneDrive\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV\launcher-v2.sqlite'and try again"
This has been going on for about a couple days now, and i really dunno a good fix.
I have reverted to a previous launcher-v2.sqlite version, that failed.
Verifying the game files failed too.
Deleting launcher-v2.sqlite, verifying files, then launching, that failed.
So i really dunno what to do, any suggestions. Oh and try think of ways that dont consist of the old uninstall/delete game/mods and reinstall, some people have ♥♥♥♥ wifi.

I've had the exact same problem but come to a fix. You need to go to C:\Users\(Your User)\OneDrive\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV and delete everything in there. Once that's done, go to Hearts Of Iron 4 on the Steam Library, right click on it, go to properties, go to the Local Files tab, then click on Verify Game Files. It will find all the missing files that we deleted and reinstall them with the Non-Corrupted version.

Because you didn't verify Game Files. You can't open it until then. right click on Hearts of iron IV in the Steam Library, go to Properties, then Installed files, click on Verify Integrity of Game Files, wait for it to say "All [Number] files Successfully Validated" and then open the game again and it should all be there. Don't try to play or shut down Steam (Computer included) while it's validating

Follow the same directory until you're in |Hearts Of Iron IV and delete your entire folder. Everything inside it, delete, empty recycle bin. Verify game files again and you should be fine. If it still fails after that I would say contact Paradox support via their forms. Much better at this than I am, but I can try to help at least.
