Air Wings Not Reinforcing
So, I'm having an issue where Air Wings are not reinforcing, even they're the same type. So, can planes only reinforce now if they're the exact same model? In this case it's Close Support Planes. Some are InterWar, others are Basic. I checked and they have the same mission type profiles.
When I try deploying them together, they come out as two seperate wings and they won't merge into one. Am I missing something here? They're both set to Regular Air Wing as well.
Are Mixed Air wings no longer possible?

I have a feeling it'll take a couple of weeks of hot fixes before BBA will be easily playable.

Most likely your upgrade planes are not exactly same type as the older ones!
Did you make multipurpose plane ans old one is pure fighter? Is so, the plane type is different, so that is why they don´t upgrade.

They were Tactical Bombers with the same loadouts, except one was Inter-War, the other was Basic and yes, both wings were set to refill with current and old models.

Aicrafts have now icon (equipment tag similar as ships) - it has to match for reinforcement.

Ah, ok, I'll check that next time I can.

Oh, I've figured it out. Turns out it was a certain mod I was using was somehow turning off the Equipment tags feature. I'm not sure if it was a conflict between multiple mods or that one in particular, but either way the issue seems to mostly be gone.
That having been said, I've noticed that, even with the same Tags, if the planes in question have slightly different equipment, the game considers them "different" enough they don't reinforce, even they're almost the exact same plane.
Example: sticking machine guns in an empty secondary slot for a tactical bomber makes it "different" from the previous model, even if that was the only change.

Update: Reinforcing requires both the plane models in question *and* the air wing in question to be marked with the same tag and have the same mission profiles. *phewh*
Also the first slot of weaponry has to match 100%

That's pretty awful. There's like 3 different things that can make CAS, CAS. BBA is major headache rn

From my experience first have to match - eg. bomb. it is ok add anti tank cannon for example to another slots though and it is still eligible it just can not be different in first one.

If you add fighter weapons, torpedoes or a recon camera, the game considers them a "different" unit.

Likely because those will change eligible mission types for cas.
