This save is from another version of the game

5 Hours ago i started play an online match with my brother, we played for 3 hours, then we saved the game and quit the match... Now we try to upload the load game but appear in red *THIS SAVE IS FROM ANOTHER VERSION OF THE GAME* ... I don't know what to do we can't start a new game every time we start HOI4 because loading game is impossible.. Someone told me to press ' clear user' but nothing happens.. i wait for answers . thank you all

Struggling with same problem. This is ridicilous that they make all save games unplayable with some update. Apparently (from the last time I googled it) one can somehow revert the update to earlier version, but no idea how to do that.

I better turn off auto updates for this game. (fire'y angry face emoji)

Every DLC update does that so it's hardly surprising.
RMB on game in library > properties > beta > click on "none" and choose 1.13.7.
