Paradox loves to hide little secrets in their DLC so if you believe there is something you have to find it.
a lot of special projects are locked behind the dlc, like being able to upgrade nukes and launch them as missiles, landcruisers, and generally the more technologically advanced stuff
It would be good to know the comparison of new free features vs DLC features so I could know what I'm getting with the DLC, but it looks like it may be better to wait for a sale.
Thanks for the confirmation.
Should add that some parts of focus trees in the DLCs is already in the base game.
Parts of the German, Finnish and Soviet focus tree is in the base game
Thanks for letting me know about the wiki. I just saw that the Wiki shows the projects and focus trees that require the DLC, so I understand it better.
Yep, that seems to be the case. I remember the inner circle mechanic was shown on the DLC announcement, that's why I was confused when I saw it in the focus tree. Checking the wiki helped me clarify that.
