it does not happen "every game" that is a lie. it is a random and rare chance.
So true. I have played the game a quite a lot and still newer has seen this to happen!
romania was part of axis faction, germany declares war on it.
there i was previous to this for hours thinking we were all consolidating and building up our axis power, but then germanys focus and romanias response to the treaty event caused them to go to war, even if in the same faction. its a bit ridiculous for roleplay to get used to your bros in other nations under the axis banner and then they go to war for some unexpected scripted reason. it ruins games. its a ww2 sim, but even in random ai games still self defeating moves happen by the axis, eating itself. sometimes this happens in a war with allies and soviets and this causes axis to be devoured from within during a war when every army counts.
The AI is weird and while it can be consistent it can also be wildly unpredictable so you have to stay on your toes till you have a decent military set up.
