Anyway AI sucks.
There is a mod called expert AI tho that might help
What you ask is AI controlling player troops. In theory there could be mod for that, but i have newer heard that someone would have done that kind of mod in this game. You maybe would like more Victoria 3 or upcoming Milleania game where AI takes most combat away from the player.
If someone knows a mod that use game engine AI to move player troops, it would be interesting to know. But when some people even don`t use battle plans and micro most of the game. Not sure if that kind of mod would be popular, but it would be interesting one to test. It most likely would make game more balanced so that Enemies would not be so weak as they are now….
But if you want the AI to literally make the plans and play like 50% of the game for you then that's just not hoi4.
Only way I can think of is switch to a different country, let the ai set up plans, then switch back and follow whatever the AI did?
I guess i may have made the assumption that HoI IV had that same option, but maybe it isn't the case.
Even if it is a feature, I'm not planning on playing games like that more than maybe one time as an experiment. Anyway, if people disapprove of that, i figure I've paid for the game and it's my choice how i wanna play it and how to spend/waste my time.
