I have said that all of these DLC’s aren’t DLC’s in the first place. All of it should be in the base game. None of it is nice little additional content. The base game is purposefully stripped down and barren, so then they could sell DLC to squeeze out more money from the game. We knew this already, and that in itself is a problem. But for them to suddenly shift and put this in the base game - where it should’ve been in the first place - AFTER we already spent our hard earned money purchasing them (especially when we were never told or informed that it would be included in the base game), is another issue entirely.
It’s a double whammy, and incredibly disgusting, slimy, disingenuous and completely disrespectful to their established players and user base.
Usually companies do this when the game has been superseded by a new game. It hasn’t. This game is still in the development cycle, where they are releasing content for it. It is still their newest and foremost game in the series.
You are talking practically and the reality of the circumstances though. I’m speaking from a principled and moral and rational perspective and position. We are having two different conversations.
That doesn’t mean it’s right, or okay.
