How to optimize after Hitler inner circle path??
Okay so coming back and now as you all know the Germany tree is MUCH bigger. I feel my main two early goals is to get 500k men fielded as quickly as possible and do the focus that allows me to start building medium tanks.
I looks like getting Gerbils to get the 50+ war support to go to war economy and researching radio to get the panzer reform focuses to get the free medium tanks is the best way???? Obviously I think there is alot else you have to do, build up airforce, rubber supply, research to get radar, etc. Yes.....no?? Side note, I like to research aircraft carriers for the navy for 1940 to help me take out britian early. I know most will tell me its not needed and a serious drain on resources but I guess its a flavor thing cause naval bombers and subs just don't seem to give you the naval dominance you need in the channel:) Thanks, happy gaming!!

just rush down to hitlers inner circle and get Todt, this will give hitler a political power boost and todt is good for civs, replace with goring later once you get the event. personally i feel like the left military guy is better because of all the xp bonus buffs. get down to price controls fast.

Keep in mind though that Göring can only be selected for the circle if one took the four year plan. Economic growth will lock him out.

Todt is the best first choice as you get the most construction bonuses and a discount on his construction concern, second is up to you as you have a lot of choices but for more PP Hess or Bormann is a good choice and you can trade out Bormann later when you're overflowing with PP (Hess is better to keep for the long-term).

After picking Todt, the best starting move is to do Reorganize the Wehrmacht for the extra war support so you can switch to War Economy immediately without needing to spend extra PP on an attache (or wasting a slot on Goebbels).

Hess is best because you can get research dicounts using him when you research with MIC.
Thanks for the advice guys, good points all. As for starting with the best tank IMHO the Russian light looks better to me and several of the other nations are pretty close. I know historically the Pz2 was little more than a recon tank with only a 20mm autocannon, not even a proper light AT gun like the 37mm..........but yes I know this is just a game and ALOT of things in the game don't match up to what was actually available when it comes to history. The naval is a horrible offender of this along with other case.
Anyway, thanks for the input, sounds like you guys are not to concerned about getting total war economy ASAP??? Happy gaming all!!!
No you can just put on like 3 or 4 small cannons on the heavy hull u start with and put it on henschel and it will stomp the ai and will also stomp alot of players. The 1934 heavy hull is rly similar to 1938 medium hull u just have to micro it to be in 100% supply zones only so u dont suffer from low reliability.

What I always do is Remil first then reorganize Wehrmacht(for the stability boost to go war econ) then Fuhrer Prinzip then Todt then 4 year then autobahn then hydrodam then anschluss. Build civs in the Rhineland then mils everywhere else. And train up as many inf as you can from day one so 22 divisions right away. I typically anschluss by summer 36. Also you dont need carriers to invade the UK. what your start with is enough to go through the channel, just put naval bombers on attack in the channel and the AI will move their ships out then boom. Just gotta be quick.

Okay thanks and wow, I have never been able to do anschluss by summer 36. Even deploying troops early I always run out of Inf equip and support. Now.....I don't have all the expensions, just the naval one and the spy one. I have placed naval bombers with fighter support attacking the channel but the UKs strength always seems to stay high enough to stop an invasion. Thanks!!!

Ohh i have all the DLCs but that shouldn't make a difference just make sure to do all of that in order. Keep the default divisions dont add anything and put 2-4 of your extra 8 factories you start with on inf equipment and 3 on support equipment and whats left on arty and planes. And it'll work. The UK invasion i usually do in 1940. Basically Ill build up until may 39 then fight the Poles then right after the Low Countries Nordic countries and France. Then spend the rest of the year refitting then boom Sealion. Then in 41 you're good to go for Barb and you have the resources of the Empire backing you up. Its funny once you beat the UK and USSR you usually end up fighting Japan with the US. At least I do because they declare on me or Italy for our possessions in the East indies.
