Game crashes when loading save

First off, I have all DLC and HOI4 is updated to the latest version. I've also verified the integrity of the game files.
So I started a new game on March 14th, 2025. I turned off my computer to do something, then came back about a half hour later. When I tried to reopen it (either by clicking "Continue" or via "Load") HOI4 crashes to the desktop. I tried again today (March 15, 2025) and it does the same thing. Is this a known issue, and does anyone know of a fix for it? Things were going so well, and it kills me to lose the 8 or so hours of progress I put into it.

same here, all saves are corruped after 1945 or later. Cant finish an india game. Its frustrating

I have the same issue. I emailed Paradox. All late game saves are unplayable. Only occurs when reloading for me.
