CZE german ally

Germany still demands sudetenland even when czechoslovakia becomes full member of axis. From game files demand sudetenland is bypassed only by becoming puppet or sattelite, not by becoming ally. Wasnt there a bypass for cze being in faction with germany as well? Going full ally is meaningless this way. Or am i doping something wrong?

If you're an ally and refuse demands then nothing happens except Germany gains a war goal they can't currently use so far from useless.

Is CZE even playable at all these days? It’s still using its focus tree from 2017 as far as I know

I was going back after 2+ years of not playing, remembering i had fun playing them before since you dont need to care about navy and giving you solid challenge. But now it seems that without any rework of the focus tree its not as good it used to be. Demo route is broken with Germany never declaring on poland without breaking your lines, leaving you alone against GER, ROM, BUL, and HUN for forever while Allies always going only against Soviets who declares on POL. Once SOV push into poland and touch your land, it seems to always break your lines, because the game redraws them all around your country, instead of where you did them initially, breaking your entrenchment.
Fascist route doesnt really work as an ally, so if you dont wanna play as puppet, there is no reason to do it.
I didnt really tried communist and will probably rather look and try some mods.

Sounds like your skills need updating a bit there too, we all have to learn/relearn stuff on a regular basis.
