Ukraine and Belarus on a 1936 map?

Why has the maps changed to show that there was a Ukraine and Belarus in 1936? When there WASN'T? What is Ukraine now, at the time, was a part of the USSR as is shown IF you actually pick to play the USSR.

How do they expect players to play a supposed Historically correct game and then they add NON-Historic parts of the World to the game.

In the setup options before starting a game there is the ability to "fracture" certain parts of the world (Split up Yugoslavia, USSR, decolonize certain parts of the world, etc.) that are NOT on by default. The only thing I can think of if you haven't messed with anything else is that somehow you accidentally turned one of those options on? That or it is some weird glitch that it seems nobody else has ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Also, that screenshot you sent was from somebody using a mod that specifically adds modern borders to the 1936 start date.

Thanks for the input. I haven't many of the game mods (bought ones) as it is, and looking myself it seems like it was a community mod map of some description as you say.
This does come back to me being paranoid of how it got there though if that is the case.

I didn't know you could do what you mentioned in the settings, maybe it glitched a bit at the start and did something there. Which puts my mind at ease a bit, that it was just a glitch and not a map that will be used ( as say after an update).

They may of called themselves a UNION and it was a UNION of Socialist states, but no one before 1991 would of said Ukraine was an independent state, as it wasn't until 1991 and their date of Independence. So ergo, it was a Russian state beforehand.

How can a Country be a FOUNDING member when it isn't even a Country in it's own right?

They could of said the Falkland Islands was a founding member or Scotland or NI, it would still mean they are UNDER the UK's or ENGLISH rule, so basically the British.

No one anywhere in the world called Ukraine, Ukraine. It was called a part of Russia.
