Thanks for the input. I haven't many of the game mods (bought ones) as it is, and looking myself it seems like it was a community mod map of some description as you say.
This does come back to me being paranoid of how it got there though if that is the case.
I didn't know you could do what you mentioned in the settings, maybe it glitched a bit at the start and did something there. Which puts my mind at ease a bit, that it was just a glitch and not a map that will be used ( as say after an update).
Thankyou sincerely.
Constituent republics:
- Byelorussia,
- Russian SFSR,
- Transcaucasian Federation (later separated into three independent SSR's),
- Tajik SSR,
- Turkmen SSR,
- Ukraine,
- Uzbek SSR.
Instead of going about "woke", you should crack open a history book.Instead of posting the rhetoric of NOWADAYS, YOU should read an old History book or listen to an older teacher, not these young fools nowadays, that know nothing or have been indoctrinated themselves.
I can ask myself what I would of said since the 1970's what I would call that region if ANYONE had asked. It was RUSSIAN belonging to RUSSIA.
Kiev was in Russian lands. If anyone would of said Ukraine they would of prefixed it or ended it with, Ukraine IN Russia.
As in this sentence "Where is Kiev situated?" Answer "in the Ukraine area", "Where's the Ukraine?" Answer = "IN Russia".
They may of called themselves a UNION and it was a UNION of Socialist states, but no one before 1991 would of said Ukraine was an independent state, as it wasn't until 1991 and their date of Independence. So ergo, it was a Russian state beforehand.
So you were wrong in the 1970s and you're wrong now.
Wow. 50 years of being wrong lol
You don't have to tell us, we can tell.
The USSR = The RUSSIAN FEDERATION. Simples; like you are.
♥♥♥♥ can keep quiet they lost big time in WW2.
No wonder they want to revise History they were decimated into dust by the US.
No one would said? Charter of the UN literally said that - Ukrainian and Belarussian SSRs are among independent founding nations.
https://ask.un.org/faq/243656
Very nice. Just goes to show that Ukraine wasn't independent in the 1940's.
Thankyou.
Let's start here shall we.
The UN and NATO are at the core of this Ukraine war right now.
The article. Let's put it in here as a paste and copy.
"Some founding members of the United Nations were not considered states at the time of the entry into force of the Charter, including the Belorussian Soviet Socialist Republic, India, the Philippine Commonwealth, and the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. Poland did not participate in the San Francisco Conference but was able to sign and ratify the Charter in 1945."
"Oppenheim’s International Law: United Nations says, “although Article 3 speaks of the original members of the UN as ‘states’ that participated in the San Francisco Conference or signed the 1942 Declaration of the United Nations, not all the founding members were states as a matter of international law.
The Soviet Republics of Byelorussia and Ukraine were invited to the San Francisco Conference and were founding members of the UN, although it is generally accepted that they were not states at the time. Similarly, India and the Philippines also participated at the San Francisco Conference and became founding members of the UN prior to their attainment of independence from the UK and the US, respectively”.
Now just read the 3rd paragraph or the first. Then answer this question.
How can a Country be a FOUNDING member when it isn't even a Country in it's own right?
As the article you mention states "The Soviet Republics of Byelorussia and Ukraine were invited to the San Francisco Conference and were founding members of the UN, although it is generally accepted that they were not states at the time."
They could of said the Falkland Islands was a founding member or Scotland or NI, it would still mean they are UNDER the UK's or ENGLISH rule, so basically the British.
Independence Day of Ukraine is a state holiday in modern Ukraine, celebrated on 24 August in commemoration of the Declaration of Independence of 1991.
No one anywhere in the world called Ukraine, Ukraine. It was called a part of Russia.
