Game crashing when I zoom it with 3D Units enabled

Basically when I have 3D units turned on when I zoom in the game just crashes (not always but still), when I turn it off and zoom in everyhing is fine. It's really problematic when I'm at war and I can't see the units.
I tried to look up something like this but only found a reddit post thats 2y.o with nothing helpfull
Anyone knows how to fix it?

I tried verifying but it didn't work. I could turn it off but I don't want to tho

You should try turning it off nonetheless, at least in order to make sure that you've correctly identified the issue.
Plus if you have any mods, you should disable them for the same reason
