Republican Spain focuses: "Guardia de Asalto" or "Guardia Civil", wich is better?

Hello, in the Republican Spain focus tree, right after the very first focus, you get to pick between two: "Guardia de Asalto" gives you fewer, larger, and more trained divisions plus some army experience by the beginning of the war, while "Guardia Civil" gives you instead more, smaller, and less well-trained divisions plus a stability bonus.

Now, comparing the bonuses of these two mutually exclusive choices, which is the better one to pick, both to win the civil war as well in the long run?

It’s not a huge difference either way, but I personally go for the larger, better divisons. They help with the early encirclements when you’re basically fighting just inf vs inf.

The best option is to focus on the civil guard. This way you can get more divisions and it will be easier to close the front, and given that most divisions are frankly garbage, it is better to take more divisions rather than fewer, but better ones.
