hey guys i got this error code and been looking on the internet and just cant find a solution can anybody help ? I am not tech saby so without help I dont think ill be able to figure it out ''The game appears to have crashed or terminated unexpectedly (exit code 3221225477). The issue may be solved by verifying the integrity of your game files and deactivating any mods. If you are using Windows, you may also need to install Visual C++ Redistributable and .NET Framework.'' now to my knowledge the game is not being blocked and i did download the visual C++ program and still nothing

i know im just a simple gamer with no skills that wants to enjoy his game, i already done all the things the internet suggests my only hope are the discussions were people more tech saby than I can help out

hey I tried that and it did not work, one thing I notived was that the mods I have are not letting me unsubscribe and I cant see the folder they are in, I dont know something is wrong with it

1) Which OS do you have (Win11, 10 or sth else)?
2) PC or laptop?

Enter <where ever you installed Steam>\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist
and try to reinstall visual c++.

If it's NET Framework - run Win Update.

It might be caused by win update 24H2; so if you updated OS to that version and it worked on 23H2...

I have a "solution" I'll explain better. Basically, sometimes I start hoi4 at work during my lunch break to start a run and then finish it at home in the evening. Sometimes when I download interesting mods at work and then play them at home in the evening, the game gives me the error "exit code 3221225477". having tried all the appropriate solutions, I turned off the PC and tried to restart it the next day at work. basically the next day the game started again both when I was at work and at home the following evening. subsequently (months later) the problem recurred in the same situation, that is, when I downloaded another mod, a different mod than the one I had downloaded that day, and in the evening at home the game didn't start, always giving the same error code. the next day at work it started again, with all the mods I had installed (obviously I hadn't cleaned the game files the night before) basically it's not that the problem persists because I was connected to different wi-fi?! It seems absurd to me but it's the only plausible thing...
