Is this achievement still possible since Germany got a buff recently ? If so, anyone that did it recently got some tips ? Or strategy?

Anything is possible

Same strat as before should work.
Just skip and see what he is doing, it works and it will always work since the AI isn't smart enough to beat it.
Germany is also programmed to endlessly charge into polish frontline so it helps that you can grind them to dust

I just managed to do this achievement with Bitt3rSteel's strategy from like 2+ years ago. Simply didn't want to do this weird shenanigans with changing supply hub capital.

Not gonna lie, Its tough... Germans are much more aggressive than they used to (based on Bitt3rSteel's video). Enemy casualties are not accumulating as fast, they produce much more mechanized so trying to regain any territory is hard and constant attacks don't give a moment to even breathe. Its non stop manual rotation of divisions to not lose ground... and when finally my units started to get some constant wins, so I can build some forts... I'm simply out of manpower. Its 1st May 1941, I can probably wait until Germany attacks Soviet Union... or Allies finish playing in Africa...

Just find it ridiculous how UK can throw 70+ divisions to Africa and barely progress and in the same time do Naval Invasions on Italy with 1 Armoured division XD.

Anyway, I did it, hard challenge. Probs won't do it again. 1939 start is so weird.
