If you consider that Reich-Poland War was the beginning of WWII, it is 6y in total and shorter than the product life of HOI4.
If you admit that JAPAN-ROC War was the beginning of WWII, it would be 14y and HOI4 still needs time to get that old... If PDX would not choose the project initiation of HOI5 which i guess a better option.

OK, the short form of nippon is not allowed in forum...

When to hell should I play this game??? Everytime the best mods are updated to newest DLC/patch/hotfix-version, they come along with a new DLC/patch/hotfix.

You should learn how to create a local copy of the mods you want to play with and then update only if and when you want to

Ja, I use a local copy of the mods. But the game itself is updated nearly every day/week. Yesterday a patch, today a hotfix, for april a new patch is announced....

Irrelevant.

Lock your mods to a stable version of the game.
Revert the game to that version whenever an update drop.
Continue to play the game as you like it
