AI so stupid

Hey, i play at hard, but still the AI is incredibly stupid. Its good, that the americans were not as stupid as that in reality, otherwise we germans still would be nazi germany. Is there a way to make AI smarter? Ideas? Its just too easy.

You really only got two options, Expert AI mod, or purposefully gimping yourself, Paradox is not looking to give players the option to have an AI that can actually play the game, let alone use the mechanics they add to the game.

This is going to sound like an absolute s-post of an answer but. Play a different game or play multiplayer. If the game has become too easy even on the hardest difficulty (and/or with mods). Then it might be time to play something else for a bit and come back in a few months or years.

I am the same way with Stellaris and other Paradox titles, I'll play it obsessively for a few weeks, get bored with the A.I or some other mechanic and lose interest for a while.

same i stop playing hoi4 for like 3 weeks then played it again. i went from 2 hours in july to 500 now with 70 hours every two weeks
