SOLVED: Paradox games are ALL crashing.
I mean, all my other games work... but Hoi4, CK3, CSII all are unplayable right now.

Solution: Both my Memory and Processor were faulty. After replacing them, everything works!

Hmmm strange... Memory chip that has gone faulty?
Because some of those games has not get updates for some time... So there is no change in the game itself. Try some memtest first... best would be to have some other pair of memory, but it is hard to get a one just for the testing purpose...
PSU can also affect, but it most likely would cause problems in other things also. Memory chip only affect if you actually use that part of memory.
If it only would be HOI4, the new patch in theory could cause problems in some computers... But this is only country pack so even that would be rare. But when it is several games...
Corrupted hard drive/ssd?
Have you checked file integrity? Those are the main two that I can suggest...

I've verified files already, and my PC is only a couple months old. But It wouldn't hurt to check the memory and hard drive integrity. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll report if I find anything!

If multiple different games have an issue. Then it is your PC. check your drivers or something.

If you read the reviews, they are indeed. Not everyone, but a good chunk.

Just checked, there is no large scale issue with crashes. this is some issue on your side. what it is, i couldnt tell you but its something with your system.

I'm having the same issue. No issues with hardware, no other games are affected. It's only PDX games, modded or unmodded, and they're just crashing at random intervals.

Yep. Sometimes, it'll crash when the game is paused and I'm afk.

PC only 2 months old (or so).
I have update graphics drivers.
I have updated Windows.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled.
I have verified installation via Steam.
I have started via the exe file and not Steam.

Nothing has worked thus far.

Pretty frustrating, because these are my favorite games when they work.

Just watched streamer playing vanilla HOI4 with all DLC game crashed six times in two hours. Crashes got more frequent further into game. Eventually quit in frustration.

This is my experience as well, except no DLCs.
