play the tutorial, it will help you with around 5% and then look a youtube video, so you get at least the most basics.

After that, you will still need to know 75%, then start a game and everything you do not understand, ask directly about, we will help you
There are guides everywhere on Youtube.

Id recommend starting Germany with historical behavior on, Tutorial is not very good beyond the basics as Italy is no longer newbie friendly
The game honestly isn't as hard to learn as it seems. Yes there are lots of little numbers and stats and an unintuitive UI but I learned a lot in just the 5 hours I've played and I watch tutorials while I'm doing cardio at the gym to supplement. I think it helps to just have some sort of goal. Not too ambitious but still something interesting. For me, I want to cut off Germany from taking Austria and Czechoslovakia as Italy to see what happens.

Just play with the mindset that you might restart a lot or reload saves a lot. Focus on 1 or 2 features and see where it leads you in the long run. This game is very much about making choices that take a long time to pan out and see results. If you want a really simple experience I'd suggest playing a minor country in the middle east or in eastern europe. Its boring to a vet but will allow you to easily learn the basics of building a nation.
Some other tips.
Decide what ideology you want to focus. Democratic, communist, fascism, or independant. Democratic focus will usually net you more stability but less ability to go on offensive wars. Communist and fascism allow justifying war with no world tension.
A lot of information is found hovering over buttons. glhf
OP,

Youtube will help a lot.
However given the complexity of it all, don't expect to ever know everything there is to know about the game.

But it is a hell of a fun game :))

Welcome aboard !
Thanks everyone for the advice! Imma try playing a few saves and see how i fare and check some yt video about specific things. Its indeed alot to read, i do like the game Crusader kings 3, its just a bit more intuitive in the UI and easier to learn i think?
i recommend watching a small video on the little things your concentrating on in game like industry production supply naval invasions paratrooper all that good stuff along the way

there's alot of videos out the ... how to play guides ect that are hours long or watching someone elses playthrough as a country always helped me understand what i should be researching or concentrating on

germany is always a good place to start .... remembering if you loose as germany everything played out correctly so anything better than a loss is a good thing ....look at why you lost ... was it supply or manpower outdated equipment not so great unit templates and learn from it implement things you learned into your next game and soon you'll feel way more confident in what your doing ...... hey this is happening so i can do this to counter that

isorrowproductions videos are props my personal favourites for consumable hahaha make you laugh content instead of 1 hour put you too sleep boring stuff

hope this was help in a sea of spam post currently
